The KC-LW-S feeder is designed to provide high accuracy, loss-in-weight feeding of pellets, granules, free flowing powders and other bulk materials.
Single screw feeder with interchangeable feed screws mounted on C2 scale. The scale is stainless steel and the scale housing is completely enclosed. All material contact parts are stainless steel. The feeder is easily disassembled for cleaning or change over. The unit is supplied with patented feed bowl and move material to the large throat and then to the feed screw.
The KC-SCB control system allows for individual or multi-unit control. Each feeder has its own control module. Connection between feeder, control modules and operator interface is via industrial network.
Actual feeder screws are determined based on the material to be processed. The following are estimated feed rates for free flowing materials. For feed rates at either end of the range, testing is recommended.
